I am also a Certified Anger Management Specialist at the Counseling Institute of Atlanta. I am originally from Mexico and speak English and Spanish fluently. I obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counselor at South University in South Carolina. I have experience with different mental health illnesses including, anxiety, depression, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. My passion is to help people through transitions in life. I aim to be an unbiased guide that help my clients and advocate for them in their journey towards self-actualization. I have a special passion for working with children, adolescents, and young adults in times of transition and change. As the journey into adulthood includes numerous obstacles.
In my therapeutic work I utilize aspects of Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am aiming to form a therapeutic relationship with each client before addressing areas of growth.
My experience in working with young adults in transition, individuals with relationships and family issues have helped teens in crisis reconcile with their families.
